RIBBON CUTTING CERIMONY FOR DAEGU 2011 TRACK
Daegu, Korea – On 17th December the new track of the Daegu Stadium, realized by Mondo, has been inaugurated. The Stadium will host the IAAF World Championships Daegu 2011 from 27th August to 4th September.
Daegu Stadium was already equipped with a IAAF Class 1 track, now completely resurfaced with blue color graduation. This is the first blue-colored track in Korea: blue graduation was also chosen to complement the Colorful Daegu brand.
Further to the track, the design of the medals was unveiled: on the back they will show the Local Organising Committee slogan of ‘Sprint Together for Tomorrow’.
