In Berlin Kenya dominates
Breaking the world record in the marathon held in the German capital.The 38th edition of the Berlin Marathon saw the Kenyan Patrick Makau beat the world record,which belonged to Haile Gebreselassie the Cushite, with a time of 2:03:38. It was a real triumph for Kenya, which finished second with Stephen and Edwin Chemlani Kimaiyo finished third in the men's race, and Florence Kiplagat won the women's trial with a time of 2:19:44.
